| Carousel Farms offers an extensive Youth Program:
Private Lessons: We offer private lessons for children starting as young as 4 years old. (Current Rates) All lessons are geared toward not only the mastery of riding skills but also building knowledge of horses and horse care. Answering the age old question of "WHY?" we do all the strange things we do around horses helps kids to retain what they've learned and put it in perspective, not only on horseback, but in daily life as well. Gift Certificates for lessons are available upon request. Horse Shows: Throughout the summer months, there are a variety of local horse shows that we like to take our students to. Horse shows are a wonderful experience for students: they learn about riding in a group, show off what they've learned at home, and have a great time both riding and cheering each other on! If you're interested in showing, please let your trainer know as soon as possible - the show season is sneaking up on us very quickly and we will need to plan accordingly! Summer Horse Camp: We hold at least one week long summer day camp every year.
